Grey Wolves
The wolf is the largest member of the canine family. Gary wolves range in colour room grizzled tray or black to all-white. As the ancestor of the domestic dog , the gary wolf resemble German shepherds or malamutes. Wolves are making a comeback in the Great Lakes , Northern Rockies and Southwestern United States.
Height: 26-32 inches [.7-.8m] at the shoulder.
Length: 4.5-6.5 feet [.1.4-2m] from nose to top of tail.
Weight: 55-130 lbs [25-59 kg]; Males are typically heavier and taller then the females.
Lifespan: 7-8 years in the wild.

It is a social animal and travels with its mat and offspring. The only predators are humans and tigers. They mainly eat large hooved mammals but will also eat smaller animals. Humans have disliked and hunted wolves because of attacks on there live stock.
